Lifestyle changes are hard to adopt and even harder to maintain. It doesn't help that a barrage of misinformation on the internet adds to the frustration and poor results. Thus in order to achieve health and wellbeing, it is paramount that you are guided by a dietitian. For that reason, I have developed Care Plans to help you achieve your goals and stick to a healthy lifestyle for the rest of your life. 

 

Your psychological state of mind plays a critical role in determining the success of the programs. Thus I offer counselling on mental wellbeing, motivation and goal setting. Our emotional health also has a huge affect on our physical health. Anxiety, depression & low mood are believed to exacerbate many lifestyle-related health conditions such as excess body weight, heart diseases, diabetes, many forms of cancer, inflammatory diseases and other health conditions.

 

I focus on your long term health and not just a short term outcome. During consultations, we design customised diet and exercise plans that are based on your cultural dietary practices and suitable for your current lifestyle and living situation. These care plans will continue to benefit you for the rest of your life.

Studies have shown that 80% of people who lose weight, put it back on, within the next 6 months. As a result, they get stuck in a cycle of yo-yo dieting. The main reason most diet programs fail is because they offer fixed plans that do not teach you the fundamentals of health & nutrition. Similarly, many other programs that offer dietary and lifestyle changes to treat various health conditions or to adopt a healthy lifestyle for general health and wellbeing don't have a lasting effect. We offer in-depth education and mindset coaching to bring a permanent change.
